GGE’s President, Nicole Hansen as a Speaker and Advocate
Nicole Hansen has spoken on behalf of GGE’s work at panels, conferences, and even on the green carpet. She has appeared at several events focused on sustainability, branding, renewable energy and children affected by environmental toxins. Nicole has appeared as a panelist at the 2009 Earth Day screening of Fuel and as a panelist for Breathe LA in 2010. She spoke at the 2010 and 2012 Ideation Conferences and for ProVisors on her work to bring renewable energy solutions to Haiti.
Active among non-profits, Nicole served as a judge for the Children’s Television Award for the Environmental Media Awards, been on the Los Angeles Regional Council for the National Women’s History Museum and as a Master Mentor and Steering Committee member for the Sustainable Business Council of Los Angeles. She has appeared as a guest of Rachelle Carson-Begley’s MomTV and she publicly advocates for the use of renewable energy technologies to help stem the rise of developmentally delayed children impacted by environmental toxins. She also volunteers and has blogged for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles and attends annual “Power Women Power Tools” events. Her memorial to Brian Gerber appears in The Nation
